MUDr. MARTIN ŠATNÝ
MD Martin Šatný graduated in 2016 in General Medicine from the 1st Faculty of Medicine of Charles University. Here he subsequently continued his postgradual studies in the field of Preventive Medicine and has also been lecturing at the university since 2018.
Since 2016, he has been working as a doctor at the 3rd internal clinic of the 1st Faculty of Medicine, UK and VFN. His professional focus is internal medicine, especially preventive cardiology, where he focuses on the identification and intervention of risk factors for cardiovascular diseases.
During his doctoral studies, he actively participated as a researcher or co-researcher in a number of scientific research projects in the field of preventive medicine.
Since 2020, he has also been acting as a delegate for the Czech Republic in the European Association of Preventive Cardiology (EAPC).
He applies his knowledge and research in the field by authoring dozens of professional articles that have been published in peer-reviewed and impactful journals.
