PODIATRICS

Podiatry is a field that comprehensively treats diseased conditions of the feet and searches for the causes of problems of the entire musculoskeletal system, focusing on anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, prevention and treatment of the feet, ankles and adjacent structures that functionally affect the entire musculoskeletal system.

In our clinic, we focus on a complete examination of the legs, analysis of standing and walking stereotypes, examination of the static and dynamic stability of both the leg and the entire system, testing of abdominal hydraulics. We solve painful conditions of the lower limbs and provide preventive and rehabilitation care not only for legs and feet.

In therapy, in addition to the problem area, we solve problems in connection with the entire locomotor system, because problems with the feet are related to a change in the axial position of the lower limbs, pelvis and spine. Both adults and children come with impaired leg function and leg defects. Stabilization exercises, modern physical training, correctfoot and taping are used during the treatment. For children, we use exercises and automatic postural correction.

We offer the manufacture of individual dynamic insoles from Formthotics, Vasyli Medical or the simpler Superfeet concept.
