BC. JAN KOHOUT
In his physiotherapy practice, Jan focuses mainly on the McKenzie concept, which is an internationally recognized diagnostic method focusing on the examination and subsequent treatment of pain in the spine and peripheral joints and muscles, which has been used for more than 30 years.
In his work with clients, Jan also draws on the concept of the Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization method, based on the principles of developmental kinesiology. The founder of this method is prof. PaedDr. Pavel Kolář, Ph.D. Moreover, Jan focuses primarily on strengthening and overall stabilization of the center of the body by combining physiotherapy with the active approach of the client as part of strengthening in the gym.
In his physiotherapy practice, Jan also uses taping techniques, which means it is possible to relax or “facilitate” the muscles and thereby functionally connect them to the correct muscle chain.
